This international cooperation project focuses on developing workplace cultures in knowledge-intensive professional companies operating in the ICT sector.
The first objective of the project is to help knowledge-intensive companies in the growth and internationalization phases to increase their ability to react to changes, to improve productivity, and to create competitive advantage. It aims to improve member commitment by strengthening the company's self-awareness and shared understanding of who we are as an organization (organizational identity), how we operate (workplace culture), and how each member can influence it (organization citizen behaviour).
The second objective is to increase understanding of the workplace culture affecting the company and organization citizen behaviour, knowledge management and job satisfaction related to the culture. The objective is to support the objectives of continuous development and innovation, as well as to develop a workplace culture and skills supporting diversity, that are especially challenged when a company grows and internationalizes.
The third objective is to improve the interaction between the members of the workplace. The project brings employees and management into an open and constructive dialogue aimed at creating a common understanding of the essence of the organization, its key values, goals and tasks.
The goal of the international cooperation is to produce international workplace knowledge of the expectations of current actors about supervising and being an employee, and to observe the trends of change in European working life. The goal is to share workplace-related knowledge on internationalization for companies, enable international peer learning, as well as to help companies build international networks and utilize them in their own internationalization processes.
