Targeted students
The standard short tracks are based on a previous programme in:
- Business Management
- Applied informatics or Electronics-ICT
When you obtained one of the above diplomas, you have to take up +/- 90 credits. This enables you to graduate after 1.5 years.
Of course you can also spread these courses over several years, if you wish to combine the training with a part-time job.
Obtained another degree than listed above? A 'tailor-made' program is always worked out based on your preliminary education. Then you will also be exempted for a fixed set of subjects, possibly supplemented by additional exemptions (through the exemptions procedure).
Courses
Short programme with a degree in Business Management
The total package of credits that you will still need to take is based on your preliminary education.
Below you can find an overview of the courses (subject to change), when you already achieved a degree in Business Management. For each subject, the number of credits per semester is mentioned (when you start in September). Credits express how many hours you need on average to process the subject matter (incl. lessons). Tailor-made track
There are standard 2 short programmes*:
- Obtained a degree in Business Management? Then your programme still counts for a maximum of 90 credits.
- Already completed a programme in Applied Informatics or Electronics-ICT? Then you still need to take a maximum of 83 credits.
Obtained any other bachelor or master degree (e.g. bachelor Multimedia and Creative Technology or bachelor Media and Entertainment Business), you will be exempted from a fixed package of courses and need to take up a maximum of 111 credits.
The model track always mentions the maximum number of credits you still need to take. Based on your preliminary education or maybe work experience, additional exemptions are always possible. Therefore you will need to follow the exemptions procedure. The same applies when you obtained another degree than those mentioned above.
If you have any questions, please contact the study counsellor. Together, we will then examine how we can work out a personal study programme tailored to your ambitions.
*Programmes and credits subject to change.
In practice
Practice will be the common thread throughout your program. Thanks to projects with companies you will get the opportunity to test new technology in an actual working environment. You will get assignments taken straight from the heart of the business.
Personal coaching
Each year’s classes are divided into two parts that each last 13 weeks. During those 13 weeks we focus intensely on a select number of classes. At the end of this period there are exams. As such, we can spread out the study load more evenly throughout the academic year. What’s more, this means we can focus more on personal mentorship and feedback. Practical exercises, group projects, cooperation and sharing knowledge are all central.
All of this mentorship and knowledge you will receive from (guest) lectors that are firmly grounded in the business world. Add to that a healthy no-nonsense approach, and you end up with a unique mix of authenticity, expertise and coaching!
Go international
Interculturality
You’ll experience the true meaning of ‘interculturality’ every day. No course book or syllabus can top that. You’ll get to know professionals from all around the world and build your international network from day one. English becomes your mother tongue, the world your new home.
Taking up an internship is not compulsory in the shortened programmes (model programmes). If you do decide to take up an internship, it is always possible to complete it abroad.
Professional bonus
You get the opportunity to obtain the Google analytics certificate. This allows you to work as a qualified web analyst.
