Innovatie Lab

Semester 1
In een multidisciplinair team ga je aan de slag met een uitdaging van een bedrijf of ondernemer. Je doorgrondt het probleem, brainstormt en maakt kritische analyses om op het einde van de rit tot een concrete oplossing of prototype te komen. Je maakt kennis met relevante methodieken zoals design thinking & business model canvas.
Startup Bootcamp social and climate impact

Semester 1
Tackle social & climate change and conquer the world! During the Startup Bootcamp Social and Climate Impact, you will be inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (SDGs) and develop these into a sustainable business concept.
This OPO is in English. Both English speaking and Dutch speakings students are welcome. Mostly online.
Startup Bootcamp Business

Semester2
In het Startup bootcamp business werk je in multidisciplinaire teams. We stomen je klaar om van geen idee naar een topidee te gaan. Creativiteits- en brainstormtechnieken staan centraal. Onder leiding van de jongstartersbegeleiders van Voka wordt je idee versterkt tot een vermarktbaar concept. Je kan hier ook instappen met je eigen ondernemersidee!
Dit OPO is in het Nederlands, op drie locaties.

Speakers Academy

Semester 1
Niets zo geloofwaardig als je eigen verhaal sterk te kunnen brengen. Doorheen de Speakers Academy focussen we op het opbouwen van een goede story, mét aantrekkelijke visual. Er wordt gewerkt aan je presence. Je leert een publiek boeien, inspireren en overtuigen. Max. 15 studenten voor dit vak en er is vooraf een intakegesprek vereist.
International Startup Bootcamp Africa
TMK: Z15302 - TMMA: YR0644 | 3STP | ENG
Semester 1 Uganda - Semester 2 Rwanda
Do you want to be challenged and get out of your comfort zone? Learn more about social entrepreneurship, intercultural communication and grow in your personal development path. We are organising this in collaboration with OVO (Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs). This journey starts with inspiring company visits, followed by a 3-day bootcamp with local entrepreneurs. You will join a team from a local start-up or scale-up and actively work on their sustainable business model. This OPO is in English. You choose either Rwanda or Uganda. Participation fee: €100. Excluding travel & accommodation costs. Including: all lunches, liability insurance, welcome dinner, farewell BBQ, excursion around Geel, discover Antwerp, city rally in Lier, visit Ghent. Consider unexpected events: As we learned from the COVID-19 situation, things can change rapidly. Therefore, we would like you to estimate your individual situation and make sure to have the best way of dealing with any unexpected events, eg. travel insurances, etc.
