Do you want to actively protect the interests and rights of your fellow students before the board and college management?
Do you have fresh ideas about your study programme or how to improve college life? Then Student Council is your thing! Make new friends and add valuable experience to your résumé!
Each study programme or unit has its own Student Council, composed of elected student representatives. These students are the voice of other students concerning the quality of education, the atmosphere on campus, and many more.
There is also a General Student Council, in which delegates from the various student councils participate. They look after issues which concern all students, regardless of their study programme. This concerns, for example, the education and examination regulations, student restaurants, et cetera.
As a member of a student council, you are entitled to a number of facilities to fulfil your mandate as best you can.
On our annual meeting you get to know student representatives from other degree programmes and campuses and enter into direct dialogue with the management. This is the ideal time to help outline the future of Thomas More. Themes of previous editions were student facilities, golden ticket, inclusion and so on.
