Monique graduated as an Industrial Engineer at Thomas More (back then HIK) in Geel.
After a long career in IT, mainly as a database administrator, she wanted to take a different path and work for an organization with greater social added value. She found this completely in the Centre of expertise Budget and Financial Well-being, where she is mainly responsible for good financial and administrative follow-up of the research and valorization projects and, together with Sin Mei, supports the research group in every possible way.
Outside working hours, Monique plays volleyball and tennis and enjoys walking and cycling with friends and family. She also really enjoys a city trip or a weekend away and reading a good book.
