Human well-being is a research topic on which mankind has focused for thousands of years. The People and Well-being Research Group continues this search for answers in a field where there is still much to discover.

The mission of conducting qualitative, practice-oriented research has been accomplished for years. "How can we stimulate language development in children?" and "What does the concept of intelligence mean?" are some of the many questions our researchers try to answer every day.

In addition, new questions are also emerging in our ever-evolving world: 'What opportunities does technology offer us to help others?' and 'In what ways can we use these new technologies in an ever-changing field of work?' Furthermore, social issues are also explored such as promoting well-being at work and preventing transgressive behaviour in the sports world.
