[In the spotlight] Joana Pinto - CEO of Clynx

I am Joana Pinto, a Portuguese entrepreneur, biomedical engineer, co-founder and CEO at Clynx. I have always been passionate about business strategy and about bringing innovative technology into the Healthcare space. That is why I co-founded Clynx, a Digital Health startup that is making Physiotherapy an enjoyable and digital experience, through gamification, 3D image technology and home-based care treatments.

Our solution uses gamified approaches to provide better experiences for patients, and can be used in-clinic and at home. The exercises plan is customized by the physiotherapists for each patient, and both of them have access to analytical session and progression reports. We are present in the Portuguese market, working with private clinics and public hospitals.

This year, we ran our first international Pilot actions in Italy and Germany. Our participation in this ACSELL Project has been extremely important and it was key for us to receive the support of LiCalab in the pilot co-creation and testing of our solution in these new markets.

I love my job and our mission at Clynx, because I know I am working everyday to help Healthcare Professionals provide better quality and patient-centered approaches that empower Patients in their treatment journey.
