Nele has a degree in sociology from the University of Antwerp and a PhD in political science. Since then, she has been working as a researcher at CEBUD, where she focuses on budget and debt counselling and the topic of financial self-sufficiency. She is passionate about knowledge acquisition and loves to develop tools and methods that make a difference in the field of social work.
In her spare time, Nele likes to go to concerts and festivals. She prefers detective and thriller novels and does crossword puzzles and sudoku’s. She doesn’t miss a party and regularly organises get-togethers with family, friends and neighbours.
