Structure
Put theory into practice from the word “go!” via an intense mix of projects, practical enterprise labs and other hands-on courses. All taught in English to boost your international credentials! Learn to analyse and solve problems while designing, developing and even making new electronic devices.
If you specialise in Hardware, you’ll learn to design, develop and produce embedded hardware, design electrical circuits from scratch and develop your own web applications and mobile solutions.
More into Software? You’ll create your own applications while building analogue and digital circuits, programming micro-controllers and immersing yourself in the world of (smart) electronics.
All this hard work will culminate in an (international) final internship and bachelor’s thesis in your third year.

In practice
Your cross-curricular project work will bring you into close contact with the business world. You’ll progress rapidly from simple electronics projects in phase 1 to more complex projects in an industrial and technological context in phase 2. Culminating in your (international) internship and bachelor's thesis in your final semester.
Your internship is your chance to bring all your skills together and apply them to a real-world customer case. You will also profit from a dedicated university lecturer who will follow up on your internship and bachelor's thesis.
International Week
Don’t miss our annual International Week at Campus De Nayer where renowned international guest speakers present the latest technological developments from around the globe. -

Fall 2020 semester (Covid-19)
Already living in Belgium?
We would love to welcome you on campus in September. We will follow the guidelines provided by the Belgian government. For the latest updates, consult www.thomasmore.be/corona.Coming from abroad?
- Students enrolled in the Electronics and ICT programme will have the option to take their first semester courses remotely, with virtual support from lecturers, until the end of October.
- Due to the fact that this is professionally oriented programme with practical labs, students are strongly advised to try to be on campus as soon as possible. Registration for the first semester will not be possible after the end of October.
- It will not be possible to take the January exams remotely.
- A February start date is possible in this programme, though students who start in February will not necessarily be able to graduate in 6 semesters. We strongly advise students to go for the September start date if at all possible.
