Run or cheer for charity!  

On Monday June 26, the Teacher Training Department of Thomas More in Mechelen organises a heartwarming running event. Between 12h00 and 14h00, students and staff of Thomas More meet at a park Bontique (Kruidtuin) for a run for charity and a cosy fair.  

The profit of this event will be donated to De Keeting, a non-profit organisation in Mechelen that is comitted to fight against poverty.  

Who can participate? 

Everybody who wants to help De Keeting. Both sporty types as well as fans, staff and other students are very welcome. You can choose for a long distance run, or just run for 2 kilometers. 

All details 

On Monday June 26 at 12h00, the festivities will start in park Botanique (Kruidtuin), next to campus Kruidtuin. Try to run as much but, most of all, as enjoyable as possible during these 2 hours. You can change clothes before and after the event in the multifunctional room at campus Kruidtuin. 

During the event everybody can enjoy the cose atmosphere at the small fair with food and music. These benefits will be donated to De Keeting as well. 

And above all this … at the end of the race some lovely gifts will be given to: 

• the funniest dressed participant(s) 
• the best runner (most kilometres) 

How to register? 

You can register here. The participation fee is 5 euro. But feel free to donate more money for De Keeting.  

• Students participating with a team of 5 (or more) will receive a free running shirt from Thomas More! Action valid as long as stock lasts 
• Everybody who runs 2 km (or more) will receive a free croque monsieur.
