Doing business in Brazil
Both speakers have a year long working and living experience in Brazil. They want to give the audience through a brief introduction and larger interactive part an indication on how to engage in business in Brazil. This is an add-on to the course "International Business", where Brazil is discussed during (unfortunately) only 1 session.
Manu Melotte, managing partner at Ponteaz, and Bob Lambermont, manager at Penetron.
Manu Melotte was during 10 years manager at D.E.Master Blenders (Douwe Egberts - Mondelez) and lived various years in Brazil. Now, he is managing partner of Ponteaz, a consulting firm with offices in Sao Paulo and Brussels supporting Western-European companies in their expansion to South-America and bringing Brazilian investors to Europe. Bob Lambermont is an experienced manager with an experience of 10+ years in Brazil. Amongst others he has worked in the Barco and Philips group. Currently he is manager in Penetron, a Spanish group specialised in construction chemicals. He obtained business degrees at the KUL and EHSAL (https://www.linkedin.com/in/boblambermont/).
